Recently, I got my hands on the Utatane Piko trial.

Unfortunately, what I mixed will never be heard

because Sony did not want songs made with the trial software to be uploaded.

Doesn't stop me from making art that I would have incorporated with it. xD

[Programs] Dare I buy CS5?

At my college, the various versions of

Adobe Creative Suite 5 are now on sale

for 80% off with proof of academic ID.

This takes the usual price of around $1699 and makes it $385.

It is very tempting.

However, when I went to the store,

they recommended that we held off

until Adobe Acrobat X was out.

Strangely enough, the CS that I wish to buy

(Production Premium, the violet one),

does not even come with Acrobat.

Huh...?

If I do invest in it,

I finally get Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.

I would also get some recording software,

which could probably come in handy.

I made a comment about it on Facebook.

Many of my friends are telling me to go at it as soon as possible.

I guess it's time to make some room on my dear little Zakuro

(the name of my computer).

I am holding off for now

because I want to play with After Effects a little bit.

I downloaded a trial version and I've yet to start it,

so I still have my trial at full.

The board was constructed to not only promote original western Vocaloid and UTAU producers and artists, but also to strongly encourage group efforts, joint projects and collaboration on songs and PVs.

Amongst some of the western producers on YouTube and also the western Vocaloid collaboration group ResoNation the argument arose, that the western community of Vocaloid producers and artists was far too loose and uninvolved with each other, unlike the Japanese competition which had firm and structured organisation over Piapro and Nico Nico Douga.

Thus the issue arose that the western community might also need a similar hub where producers could interconnect and more easily bind together for projects.

We are always looking forward to having more people who are willing to join and collaborate with us!

[PV WIP] Storyboard

This is what I've been working on all day.

It's a storyboard for a PV I want to start working on.

The version I have is in color, but I made it grayscale on here as to prevent too much getting leaked.

However, if you can read my crappy handwriting and know Japanese, you might be able to figure it out.

I am working on character designs for someone's drama that they want to do. However, now I fear that it might be dropped. We'll see what happens.

FFF- I haven't been on here since forever!

So, let me start with: "I'm not new to Blogger". I had posts and blogs from a loooooooooong time ago, all of which have now been deemed "deactivated" in my mind. You will never hear of them again, nor inquire about them. I was young and stupid back then...

Why am I a Vocaloid stalker? Well, it's just self-declared. I'm always stalking various forums, blogs, and official sites to find out the latest Vocaloid news ASAP. When it comes to this fandom, I'm practically obsessed and I'm surprised that I even lead a normal life.

I typically kick around in the fanart department and will hopefully share some WIPs and final products here. I've only recently started getting into making songs with Vocaloid (presently, I own Sonika and I download demos of new ones as they become released). My goal is to start making original songs, but, at this time, I'm just downloading pre-made .vsqs and editing them or making my own covers.

There have also been a few times in which I've taken it upon myself to romanize some songs. I might make the occasional post on that, but I am not a translator (yet). On the chance you come across my romanization, please do not ask for translations. I will not do them.

Well, that's that. Hopefully I'll have something real to post this weekend. Iroha eats what?
